As in other rental studios, the liability for damage to technology, rooms and everything elseis completely yours (the renter). It is also your responsibility for all persons participating in your shoot, as well as their actions and anything else that happensin the framework of your rental.
Therefore, the photographer / videographer who uses the studio and operates the technology should usually rent the studio. - Insurance
You must have a valid liability insurance that fully covers studio and equipment rentals! You also confirm this to me in writing during your first rental. In case of doubt: speak to your insurance person BEFORE your first rental.
Start of your first studio rental
Since a first rental always involves an introduction to the rooms, technology and rules, there are special time periods and rules for the start of the rental:
- Monday to Friday (excluding holidays):
The first rental must start between 09:00 - 12:00, or 14:00 - 18:00 - Saturday / Sunday / holiday:
The first rental must start between 10:00 - 18:00
If the first rental is to start outside these times, we charge an extra fee of at least €30 for the introduction.

Introduction
Every first-time renter receives a one-time, free studio introduction:
- Your introduction takes place at thestartof your reservation, so it is part of the first rental and must be taken into account accordingly when booking.
- The introduction takes about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the need
- Since we have to wait for you and plan an introduction, the billing of your studio rental always begins with the start of your reservation – even if you arrive later.
- Be absolutely (over-)punctual, otherwise your rental may not take place!

Parking
- Where can I park?
Best directly at the Nanz-Center, just 150 m from the studio. - We have two customer parking spaces in our yard. Here applies: first come, first serve.

Your first visit
- When do I have to arrive at the studio?
Your studio rental begins at the start of your reservation. If you arrive about 5 minutes before the rental starts, everything is perfect! - How do I get into the studio?
When you are on site (seeDirections) enter the premises “Gewerbepark Riethmüller” via the side yard (Schülestraße, right at the crosswalk) and go straight into the stairwell. Up to the second floor and immediately the first door on the right in the hallway “Teckstudio”.Now just ring at “Teckstudio”and we will take care of you. Donotring in your studio – this is your customer bell during your rental and you are not there yet 😅.
In emergencies you can always reach us on ouremergency number.
Please note that other renters mayunder no circumstancesgive you access. The same applies to you, by the way –NEVER let strangers into the studio.The door is already open? Then another studio user was careless. Please close the door and ring anyway, otherwise we won't know you're there, and we have over 1500 sqm here – you'll never find us. 😂 - What do I need to bring to my first rental?
Absolutely important for the first rental: your ID! - And what else do I bring?
Yourself, maybe a model (alternatively you can work withSilent Sally), your camera (alternatively of course you have the option to rent a studio camera), memory cards (empty), batteries (full) and whatever else you can think of. - What if I have questions during my rental?
A studio supervisor is available throughout your first rental. He will be happy to help you with any questions and uncertainties during your rental. - Does my camera work in the studio? What settings do I need?

Billing
- How is the billing done?
The calculation of your studio rental always takes place from the time you enter the studio (“light on”) to the time you leave the studio (“light off”) – down to the minute. Only other consumptions such as surcharge technology, drinks and damage are added.
Important: For customers without their own access card, the rental begins at the time of the reservation at the latest, as we have to wait for you, so please be punctual.
Billing always takes placeafter your rental and exactly according to your usageon invoice. We send your invoice monthly, at the end of the month, as a collective invoice which you can then conveniently pay within seven days by bank transfer, direct debit (authorization) or PayPal.

Subsequent corrections to invoices cause work for us and therefore cost you €5. Please make sure that we always have the correct billing information. - Foreign billing address
Unfortunately we can only offer payment by invoice to German billing addresses. If you need a foreign billing address, this is only possible with prepayment. Unfortunately we cannot offer tax‑exempt invoices! - Can I pay in cash or by card?
Yes, both are possible. - Do I get a valid invoice?
Yes, of course you receive a legally valid invoice with VAT by email.
